Step It Up, Inc. presents, their 2nd annual Gala Event, “Gallery, Grape, and Grain" A collection of local artists, wine, and beer. Step It Up, Inc. is a local Northwest 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (https://www.stepituppdx.org/) that helps at risk youth with career and educational support and development. Their mission is to provide youth with career knowledge, experiential learning, and the continuous support necessary to transform their futures. With the growing number of students utilizing these services, Step It Up (SIU) is looking to broaden their horizons and work with a larger population of disadvantaged youth. This fundraising event will serve two purposes, (1) increase awareness of the challenges facing today’s high school students in low-income and disadvantaged areas, and (2) promote what SIU is doing to find solutions and provide resources to these students.
SIU has teamed up with local artists to create a night of celebration. To allow local artists to showcase their passion, while gathering a supportive community, to see how collectively we can all change the future for the next generation.
This event will have local artists, beer, wine, and snacks as well offer a silent auction, and 50/50 raffle.
